Bari recovers many players that were one of the reasons of heavy defeat at Catania's home.
Luciano, Marcolini and Yepes, all regulars, banned in Chievo. These are great absences, Bari must return o win after four consecutive defats and this seems the right match

Chiveo is in uptrend and Bari in downtrend. Bari lost their last 4 games, but 3 of them were away from home and the home game they lost was against Milan. With a home record of 7-3-2, Bari should bounce back against mediocare team like Chievo.
Chiveo won their last two games, but for this game they are going two miss 4 regulars: Marcolini, Yepes, Luciano and Rigoni. Without these players and against a strong home team which is looking for a win, I don't think Chievo will be able to get something out of this game. Odds above 2.00 for Bari are good enough to bet on the home team.

Bari had a sensational time in the first half of the 2009-2010 season but have steadily lost momentum and matches in the second half. That defeat to Catania was their fourth loss in a row in the league and their fifth loss in their last six matches.

Chievo will be more than happy with a mid-table slot come the end of the season and at the moment the Flying Donkeys indeed are in mid-table.

Last weekend Chievo defeated high-flying Cagliari 2-1 at home in what was their 10th win of the season. However, Chievo haven't looked very confident away from home as they have lost more matches than they have won on their travels.

Jag tror på ett trendbrott här mot ett hyffsat mätt borta svagt Chievo som saknar en del viktiga spelare. Noterbart också att gästerna även har sin coach Di Carlo avstängd, han tvingas alltså se dagens match från läktaren – det är ytterligare en faktor som borde tala för ettan.

Cagliari – Catania

It is true that Cagliari comes from two succesive defeats, but cause many missing and problems in defence in last month.
Now they recover regular keeper Marchetti, the only absence in the sector is that of Lopez (16 atts.).In slight doubt Ariaudo (3atts.), but he could be substuted by Marzoratti
They have no problems in other sectors and in this good run (only the latest three matches away lost in last eight ones) they can have possibility to enter in European zone.

Catania is in fight to not relegate, but now is in an almost quiet zone and must gain points that needs at home. Away this team is historically weak, this year they have 2-4-7 12/20.
Moreove, today they have an emergency in defense with the absences of Bellusci (10atts.), Alvarez (17atts.) and Spolli (20atts.).

This weekend Cagliari are at home to relegation battling Catania and indeed they should consider this an easy fixture. Cagliari have a strong record at home in the league this campaign, having won seven and drawn three of the 13 games.

However, Cagliari should be aware that they are on a two-game losing run and that Catania will be desperate to get something from Sunday's fixture given that for them survival is at stake.

Skulle Martinez missa matchen är det riktigt hårt för Catania då han är lagets bästa målskytt på 8 gjorda mål. Liksom Mascara på 5 gjorda mål.

Numera är det klart att Chievo-lånet Giovanni Marchese missar resten av säsongen på grund av skada och därmed har han troligtvis gjort sitt i den catanesiska tröjan. Cagliari fick den unge belgaren Radja Nainggolan utvisad på nolltid mot Chievo senast och denne är alltså avstängd idag. I övrigt är Pisano, Brkljaca, Agazzi och Dessena borta på grund av skada. I veckan fick Andrea Cossu debutera i Gli Azzurri när man spelade 0-0 mot Kamerun, och det är alltså en mittfältare med självförtroende att se upp med för Catania.

Cagliari är hemmastarka och får tillbaka en del viktiga spelare samtidigt som Catania är relativt borta svagt och saknar en del viktiga spelar samt har sina två absolut bästa offensiva spelare ”doubtful” inför matchen. Cagliari har dock en historia mot Catania där man haft det lite svårt, men inte alls samma jinx status som man har mot chievo vars matchhistorik är mardrömmen för Cagliari.

Jag ser på många sätt likheter mellan denna match och Bari matchen, båda lagen har chans att studsa tillbaka till den form de tidigare visat upp att de varit kapabla till och nu är förutsättningarna faktiskt dom bästa för det. Hemmaplan, skadeläget och motståndet väger samtliga över för både Cagliari och Bari.
Oddset på Cagliari -0.5 @ 2.11 tycker jag är för bra för att inte spela.
