Game: Ottawa at Boston (1:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Ottawa +130 (moneyline) (risk 4 to win 5.2)

The Boston Bruins are still getting tons of respect here from the oddsmakers, despite their slip on home ice. Last season the Bruins were all but unbeatable at home dropping just six games all season. Here we are at the midpoint this season, and they already have dropped eight and that includes their last two. The Senators finally broke out of a five-game funk, where they lost all five, scoring just 5 times in the process, but they have rebounded to win their last two, scoring 6 times in the process. The Bruins are struggling vs. a team playing well behind the net in their last game as they are 1-5 in their last six vs. a team allowing 2 or less in their last game. I'll go with Ottawa in this one.

Game: Tampa Bay at Carolina (7:00 PM Eastern)
Pick: 4 units on Tampa Bay +110 (moneyline) (risk 4 to win 4.4)

The Tampa Bay Lightning went through an offensive drought that saw them get shutout four times over a period of just 10 games. They were 1-9 in the 10-game stretch, posting just 14 goals in the 10 games. They have since righted the ship and have now posted 41 goals over their last 13, or better than 3 goals per night. It has led to three road wins in their last six games. They are facing a Carolina team that has allowed 23 goals over their last six games, or just about 4 per game. This should give the Lightning a lot of opportunities to score with an increasingly confident attack. The Hurricane's are having a lot of difficulty coming back off a shoddy defensive performance, where they allowed 5 or more goals in their last game. Their next game reveals a very telling 6-21. I'll go with the Lightning here.

Game: Tampa Bay at Carolina (7:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 5 units on Tampa Bay +1.5 goals -270 (puckline) (risk 5 to win 1.9)

Tampa Bay has really made some adjustments on the offensive end that has more than doubled their output from a dreadful 10-game stretch of 1.4 goals per game. Combine that with the loose play behind the net of the Hurricanes, allowing just about 4 per game over their last six, and the plus side of the puckline becomes very advantageous here. The Hurricanes’ pathetic performance off of allowing 5+ in their last game results in a 6-21 mark in the ensuing game, just adds to the value. I'll go with Tampa Bay on the puckline.

Game: Buffalo at Phoenix (7:10 PM Eastern)
Pick: 3 units on Game Total OVER 5 -120 (risk 3 to win 2.5)

The Phoenix Coyotes are really struggling behind the net and on the defensive side of the ice. They went through 10 straight games on home ice where they were iron clad, allowing no more than 2 goals in any of the 10. That has changed dramatically as over their last six at home they have allowed no fewer than 3! The Sabres have faced totals of 5 just four times this season, staying under in just one. The Sabres have also seen 10 of their last 12 games get to 5 goals or higher, while 13 of the last 17 Coyotes games have reached the 5 mark or over. This one is too low, so I'll play this one to go OVER the total.

Avråder er starkt att skippa spelen med +1.5 HCP's absolut noll värde i dem.
