Just the other day, it was confirmed that AKB48 and SKE48 will be making appearances on the ‘63rd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen‘ on New Year’s Eve. The girls will be getting a head start with their very own song battle. This event was first held last year with Takahashi Minami leading the red team and Oshima Yuko as the leader of the white team. After a fierce battle between the two teams, the white team took the victory. The captains and teams for this year’s event will be revealed at a later date.
