"-- Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant plans on playing in Tuesday's season opener against the Dallas Mavericks after being sidelined for more than a week with a strained right foot.
"I feel pretty good right now," Bryant said after participating in running drills at the team's shootaround Tuesday, putting pressure on the foot for the first time since injuring it in a preseason game nine days ago.
Bryant said there was an "85 percent" chance he will lay Tuesday night and claimed he will evaluate how he feels closer to game time."
